Hi, I’m Junfeng (Jayden) Guan

I’m a fourth year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I am a member of the Systems & Networking Research Group (SyNRG), and my advisor is Haitham Hassanieh.

My research interests are in the area of wireless sensing and networking systems, joint communications and sensing, millimeter-wave and 5G networks.

I interned with the RF Circuits and Systems Group at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in Summer 2019. I worked with the IBM SDPAR and built a 3D imaging system suitable for 5G base stations.

I received my M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019 and my B.S. (with Highest Honor) in Electrical Engineering in 2017 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Here is my CV
